Their consultation, time and funds are dedicated to implementing innovative education and workforce development programs here in eastern North Carolina. Our STEM East industry partners are focused on developing a work-ready labor pool by engaging with regional school districts to expand opportunities to develop a crib to career pathway. They provide integral support for Teachers@Work and Kenan Fellowships.

LEADERSHIP
STEM East Connect is a platform that brings brings business and industry into the classrooms of our schools. It provides a virtual connection where teachers can request virtual connections with STEM professionals that support career awareness and classroom instruction.
In 2017 the NC Science, Math and Technology Education Center awarded one of our business partners, Fleet Readiness Center East in Craven County, the prestigious Business and Industry Award for their outreach work in engineering education.
